A Walk of Freedom

What is a better way to learn about the history of Boston than to take a walk at the Freedom Trail that will lead you to seventeen major historical sites at downtown Boston, Massachusetts? Since it will be a long walk, about two and half mile walk in total, it would be a good idea to make use of a bus charters Boston that will wait for you at the end of the trail to bring everyone home – especially if you are bringing your younger kids with you. By the end of walking through the Freedom Trail, the younger children may not want to walk back to the starting point.

A path made of mostly brick through downtown of Boston, you will start your two and a half mile walk from Boston Common right up to USS Constitution in Charlestown. Take your time to walk through the Freedom Trail and enjoy the historical spots where you can stop by to enter in. Most of the historical sites are free but they do welcome donations while there is a minimum admission fee to pay to enter into the Old South Meeting House, Paul Revere House and Old State House. The Freedom Trail is said to be one of the best tours on the history of Boston as well as to discover the history of the American Revolution. Freedom Trail is definitely a great way to learn about history and literally see it come to life as you walk along the trail – it is so much better than reading about history from the books!
