Entertainment in Boston Flavor

Let’s be frank....winter in Boston is absolutely miserable. Yes, miserable and that is us being absolutely nothing short of honest. December can be tough and January tougher but February is dreary and people are generally all dragged out with winter. So, as a rule of thumb, if you want cheery weather and fantastic atmosphere, making a bus charters Boston trip is a no-go. But if you don’t really mind all that jazz, then it is OK. Bar nothing else, visiting Boston any other time is perfectly enjoyable. Spring and Fall....it is gloriously amazing! While the summer weather in other places is punishing, summer in Boston is breezy and enjoys fantastically moderate temperature and weather.
Weather aside, let’s dig in on the kind of entertainment one can find on the Boston front.
Boston is sort of an alter ego for Manhattan city, downtown area, mainly because it is LIKE Manhattan....and yet there are so many more layers to Boston than Manhattan. Some bus charters Boston visitors have gone on to say that Bostonians go all out of their way to prove that they are equal to if not better than New York.
As far as entertainment is concerned, we can’t stop weighing in on what Huntington Theatre Company has to offer. Year after year, they keep proving that they have what it takes to be a winner in the entertainment industry. This award-winning bus charters Boston company specializes in staging internationally-acclaimed plays from Broadway. So, in short, if you can’t catch it on Broadway in Manhattan, there is little to worry about because you can catch it on Huntington Theatre. Several of the original plays have gone on to win (astonishingly) Tony’s, and that, my dear bus charters Boston readers, is a mean feat. What we found absolutely interesting was that some these award-winning plays came on Huntington Theatre Company BEFORE hitting Broadway and if that doesn’t deserve an applause, we don’t know what does.
Most of the jazz joints in Boston (or any other cities) are located (safely) within the confines of a bus charters Boston hotel or right smack in the middle of a very crowded entertainment hub...but not Ryles Jazz Club. Our writers have gone on to visit the club and they found the dark and mysterious atmosphere very enchanting and different from the many other jazz clubs that they have visited over their adventurous years of traveling. Luckily for them, they were entertained by house band the Ryles Jazz Orchestra and were visibly awed.

Maki Sushi Bar

While we know that not everybody would know how to appreciate or enjoy a Japanese meal, it is quite common for many to enjoy sushi instead of sashimi in any given Japanese restaurant. Hence, if you are one who enjoys eating sushi, you will certainly enjoy a meal with your friends at Maki Sushi Bar at 43 Main St, Peabody, Boston, MA. What would make the trip to Maki Sushi Bar extra special would be to charter a Boston bus to bring you and your friends there – that way, you can be sure that everyone would arrive at the same time at the destination, hassle free. When it comes to planning outings with more than 2 persons, punctuality, driving and parking are issues to be tackled; that is why it is always a good idea to charter a bus. Besides, parking at Peabody Square may not be as easily available as you think.

Depending on the day and time that you and your friends are visiting Maki Sushi Bar in the Boston charter bus, you may have to wait before you are attended to in the restaurant. While we noted that the service is a little slow and gets slower on busy days, if you are in no hurry to rush through dinner with your friends, we would think that waiting would not be a big issue with you and your friends. In fact, the waiting time would allow you and your friends to have more time to catch up as well as slowly enjoying dinner when it is served. When it comes to dining in a Japanese restaurant, it is never fun if you have to rush through it.

The menu at Maki Sushi Bar is quite extensive and almost every diner would enjoy choosing their favorites from the menu and the most important thing of all is that their seafood is all very fresh too. When it comes to eating Japanese food, freshness is important and for many people who have traveled to dine at Maki Sushi Bar in a Boston charter bus, would almost always leave the restaurant feeling satisfied with the food and service. The service provided by their staff is also top notch – friendly, polite and very attentive. From the moment you and your friends enter into the restaurant, you will feel a very welcoming atmosphere. If you want to try something different and out of the norm, try the sushi pizza. As for dessert, you may want to consider trying out the green tea creme brulee – a top favorite dessert amongst diners at Maki Sushi Bar.

When it comes to shopping at Newbury Street in Boston, you and your shopping friends will be spoilt for choice. When it comes to eating at Newbury Street, you and your friends are also spoilt for choice. So, drop whatever it is that you plan to do this weekend and go shopping with your friends instead! Now, that sounds like rather great plan, isn’t it?

For some visitors or shoppers, they may find the prices of the shops at Newbury Street in Boston a little high, but for the quality of items that you pay for, it is actually not too expensive after all. However, not all the shops here are expensive as they do have shops that sell good bargain items too. And if you and your friends ever get tired of shopping (which is quite impossible!), you can take a break and stop for a bite at one of the many restaurants and cafes there. From Italian to Japanese to Indian to American steakhouses and burgers, you name it, they’ve got it there. More often than not, visitors would opt to dine at one of the restaurants that also have lovely patios – that way, as you enjoy your food, you get to people watch too. If you like, you can also have a quick spa treatment at one of the spa centers available to rejuvenate your tired legs and bodies before you continue your shopping mission, or if you prefer, you can have the spa session after you are done with your shopping and dining.

When you and your friends are shopping at Newbury Street, there is no need for you to hurry through the shops, as the trusted and friendly Boston chartered bus driver is more than willing to pick you and your friends up whenever you are ready to leave the place.

A Walk of Freedom

What is a better way to learn about the history of Boston than to take a walk at the Freedom Trail that will lead you to seventeen major historical sites at downtown Boston, Massachusetts? Since it will be a long walk, about two and half mile walk in total, it would be a good idea to make use of a bus charters Boston that will wait for you at the end of the trail to bring everyone home – especially if you are bringing your younger kids with you. By the end of walking through the Freedom Trail, the younger children may not want to walk back to the starting point.

A path made of mostly brick through downtown of Boston, you will start your two and a half mile walk from Boston Common right up to USS Constitution in Charlestown. Take your time to walk through the Freedom Trail and enjoy the historical spots where you can stop by to enter in. Most of the historical sites are free but they do welcome donations while there is a minimum admission fee to pay to enter into the Old South Meeting House, Paul Revere House and Old State House. Throughout the entire bus charters Boston tour, these are the things that will completely blow your mind.

The Freedom Trail is said to be one of the best tours on the history of Boston as well as to discover the history of the American Revolution. Even though it can be a long walk for some, but the most enjoyable part of the trail is the locations are well marked and the people who are there to explain the history of that particular spot are very helpful and knowledgeable. To make the walk along the trail easy, they have it marked with a red line on the sidewalk – so you won’t go wrong and will not get lost if you just walk along the red lines. As you walk along the Freedom Trail, you can make stops as and when you like at the historical sites and learn more about those places. There will be times when it is not possible to enter into the USS Constitution, as there may be bus charters Boston school groups waiting to enter and the queue can get a bit too long, but if you are in no hurry, you can always move on to the other places first before returning here.

Freedom Trail is definitely a great way to learn about history and literally see it come to life as you walk along the trail – it is so much better than reading about history from the books! And don’t forget, at the end of the trail, you have your chartered bus from Bus Charters Boston waiting to take you and your little ones home.

For a spooky night out walking in Boston, take the rented charter bus for the Ghosts and Gravestones Sightseeing Tour. A Trolley bus takes you through the streets of Boston late in the night, where you will hear the history of the “other” Boston. A guide in costume will entertain you with tales of dastardly practices over the course of 400 years of Boston history. Cemetery visits, scenes of gruesome murders and more await you on this spooky tour.
If you have a sweet tooth, try one of the four tours on offer from Boston Chocolate Tours. This walking tour takes you to visit some of the most famous chocolatiers, dessert shops and bakeries in Boston. Along the way, your guide will narrate to you the history of chocolate making in Boston, how to appreciate fine chocolate, and the finer points on the art of chocolate making.
A recent addition to the Boston Chocolate Tour is the Great Boston Cupcake Tour. This 2.5 hour walking tour takes you to some of the best premier bakeries Boston has to offer.
